Al certainly had a motor.


Don’t remember him being a shooter, but he certainly helped those “Hurryin’ Hokies” get up and down the floor fast. They were fun to watch when they got going.

One of my favorite games of all time was when they blasted defending national champs and undefeated NC State in the Greensboro Colosseum. It was an emphatic coming out party for the Hokies that season.
